I was just wondering...
What is the process of winching another ATV out of a mudhole. It would seem to me that you must first secure the winching atv to a tree or something. Is this the case or do you use some sort of pulley system?

You may only need to lock your brakes if they are just high centered. Or, you may need to brace up against a tree or log if they are stuck worse. You could take a tow strap and anchor the rear of your quad to a tree, also.
