OK, I know this is for ATV's but this past week the kids 1986 Z-50R, the idle started racing or revving up. I turned the adjustment screw on the carb to slow it down, an hour later it was doing it again.

Does anyone have a suggestions? I have taken the carb apart everything looks OK?

SOUNDS LIKE AIR IS GETTING INTO THE CARB SOMEWHERE.CHECK AROUND THE INTAKE BOOT. MAYBE IT HAS SLIPPED OFF ON ONE SIDE AND LETTING AIR GET IN.

JRM,

Yeah, I have been to Frog lake, but I wasn't riding. We saw lots of sleds up there, also there was 2 crazy guys on quads riding in the snow, What are the rules about riding ATV's up at Frog Lake?

all you need is your WA state ORV tag.. anything under 40 inches (all quads) wide can ride.. I take my 200SX and friends 400 polaris up there all the time and they do great even though they are both 2wd. I had my XR250R bike on the packed trail once and everyone was amazed how well it did, just dont go off the packed trail otherwise any bike or quad will need a winch or come a long as the snow bace is 100+ inches deep. there are some super cool trails up near cougar and randell by MT ST Healons too
