another option you have is to have your carb smooth bored out another 1.5 mm. Its about $50.00 you can get it done by any of the big companies. Remember you will have to rejet after.

what a great post so the smaller tire you run the faster you go? not the quicker not the higher top end just faster all around. why post if you dont know what your talking about

 

SORRY, it would take a $1000 big bore 400EX to beat a piped Z-400, my old 1992 LT250r with Eric Gore mild porting, pipe, Kehin Carb, and Carbon tech reeds, would only pull a piped Z-400 by a couple quad lengths and I could pull any of my buddies 416,430 EX's by the same margin.
