Default Handle Bar warmers

I have a 2003 Honda 450S and I'm wondering what are the best handlebar warmers for this machine. It's starting to get cold on the hands even with gloves.....

Thanks

Cayman

Cayman,
Awesome Pics!!! When can I come up? I would love to have a place like that to hunt and ride. I have a few pics of my deer in my gallery on here that I have taken. Sorry I am no help on the hand warms I just had to tell you how good the pics where. All I wear is neoprene gloves and they keep me plenty warm.

Default Handle Bar warmers

I bought some from www.montannajacks.com for like $39 with shipping. They go underneith your stock grips and have an on/off switch that I mounted on my plastic casing on my handlebars. They work great! The guys I ride with laughed at me until one of them fell in a mud hole and got wet and cold. I put him on my bike and in no time he was toasty warm (at least, his hands were). Just take your time installing them.
A couple tips when installing:
1. The kit does not come with everything you need. You need to go to autozone or a hardware store and get an Inline 3m connecter and a 12v wire. I got mine from Autozone that is used to wire a ciggarette outlett. Only like $2 for everything.
2. Take a hair dryer or heat gun (be carefull if you use a heat gun) and warm your grips for a long time before you start to pull them off. If you have an air tool with a trigger, just bend back the grips a little and stick the nozzle under it and blow and they will fly off. I didn't have one, so I had to fold them over themself and just work them off. When they finally got off, they were inside out and I couldnt get them back, so I let them soak in really hot water for a couple minutes and stuck a screw driver in them and hit it on a board and they popped right back thru.
3. Put the heating elements on the handle bar while the grips are soaking. Then, dry them with a paper towel and put them back on (do this fast so they are still warm).
4. Take your time making the hole for your switch and it will look like it came from the factory )

Hope this helps,
~Tim

Check out www.cabelas.com ATV section

I bought Hot Grips from them, easy to install. You'll need to buy the recommended glue. Wal-Mart has it.

Dennis Kirk, Rocky Mountain, JC Whitney also carry these heated grips.
