Anyone know of an aftermarket floorboard anyone makes for the new Rnacher S? A buddy of mine has one and the dealer tells him there are none available yet. If you know of some, where can we order them? Thanks.

I'm not sure, but I think that the stock ES boards would work. My buddy put stock 450 ES boards on his 450s, and he only had to fabricate two brackets. They look "right" too. Good luck.

The Rancher ES floorboards will work on the Rancher S. I put them on mine. They look factory and were a breeze to install. The Rancher S frame is already tapped for the floorboard support extension from the footpeg. Total cost is around $150. Send me an email if you want the part numbers.

Where did you buddy get the stock floorboards for his 450s. How easy where they to put on and what kind of bracket are you talking about that he had to make to fit. If there were anyway you could let me know how he put these on then I would greatly appreciate it. I am thinking about getting a 450 S simply because I am not sure that I want all that ES mechanism. I really like that floorboards that they put on the ES model and wished that they offered it on the S model.

Jug, The bracket that you will need to fabricate, is for where the running board supports bolt to the frame. The S does not have the threaded nuts welded to the frame. My buddy simpley used a piece of 3/8" or 1/2" alum.,which he drilled and tapped to match the running board support. He then used u-bolts to attach the bracket that he fabricated to the frame. It works great, there is plenty of room for shifting. The only problem is the foot brake isn't as useful, the running board seems to limit its movement. Well good luck.
