Not true my 300ex has been the biggest piece of shlt I've ever owned I am careful with my stuff and always maintain them proper. I've had nothing but trouble with my EX. First the cam chain jumped a notch and threw it off time I got that fixed them it broke and busted my oil pump I replaced the oil pump and cam chain and cam sprockets I thought I had it dicked then it dropped a valve and smashed my head and piston went down into my bottom end I had to buy a new head (not new off ebay) and piston It's getting bored now, It's like a egg shell compared the the Mojave. My mojave is 100% trouble free not even a loose fastner I treat it right and It always gets me back home my 300ex left me 4 miles away from home with a blown up motor I didn't have any help so I left it there overnight and it snowed 6" that night, it is bad luck when riding and it brings bad luck.

 

...i know your not going to get this from the honda forum but get a blaster with its new disk brakes and styling not to mention like 1 grand or sumthing cheaper its a better deal and then throw a toomey pipe and you will be able to beat pretty much every 300ex out there but if you have to get a four stroke id probably go with the 300ex jmo lata
