My 2 neighbors both bought new foremans with speedometers within a week of each other.So I wanted to see what my 300's would do. We have about a 1 mile straight stretch on my road. The result? My 88 Honda 2X4 hit 51 and my 94 4X4 with aftermarket pipe and K&N air filter and jet kit hit 55.

For what it is worth- the 300 was actually a sport utility in its hey day. The Foreman 400 is more TRUE utility. Mine will only hit 45 or 46. The same also on my buddies Foreman 400.

 

i got a 98 300 trx and a rancher and the 300 will only do 45 max!!!! and it sounds like its ready to blow!!

 

I radared my uncle's and it went 78 kph which works out to be 48 mph. Flat paved road, real long straightaway and it sounded like it was going to blow all to pieces. It did have 1 inch bigger tires too I guess.

 

Everyone says it sounds like it is gonna blow but those 300's just sound that way when you rev them out- trust me- they WON"T blow.

 

i got a 99 2wd 300 and i had a friend drive next to me in his car goin down the road and he said the fastest i got was bout 50 when we started goin down hill. but mine dont sound like its gonna blow. i know its got a little bit more left in it. its stock with some wal-mart fog lights on the front rack and a yamaha winch with no cable on it.
