How's a foreman in the mud?
#1
Just wondering, how are the Honda Foreman 450S in the mud? I know they don't have lots of ground clearence, so if you were to put a lift kit, would it be a very good mudder? A

hey i have a 450s, i find that it works really good in the mud. It works better in the mud than a 400 kawaski. I would think that it would work really well if you put some aftermarket tires on it.

I also have a 450s and I say it will get thru most stuff anyother fourwheeler can.. having less ground clearance is a degree from the BIG boys, but the lighter weight replaces that. I enjoy mudding with mine and barely get stuck if that at all. Only problem with mudding, you have to wash it!

I have an 03' 450S and the little bit of mud I've been in it does great. It is also very good in the snow. I'm now trying to convince the wifey that I need a set of 26" MudLites so I can go even better. I just somehow have to get her to believe that it is a "saftey" issue....same way I got the winch. We have a heavy snowfall warning today overtop of the 1.5feet we already have...Oh dear. Good thing I have a 5foot plow....

I ride in alot of mud and this macine is great. I have 27" Blackwaters which made a huge difference, no lift kit. Buy a winch though, you will eventually get stuck, if you don't your not riding it hard enough.
