I dont know how many times it has to be said, but we will state it again for those who obviously cant read that well. Honda is not putting out a new 2 stroke quad! The article in Dirtwheels refers to Service Honda's 400ex that has had an engine transplant. They are offering it with a cr250r motor and it is 99% complete. There are still a few minor issues to be worked out. The quad will sell for an estimated $8000. For more info contact them via e-mail or call them directly. I was told this well over 2 months ago when I contacted them. I am sure there is more than one unit built at the present time, but they are waiting until they have a decent quantity of them before the official offering to the public. The motors they are using are taken out of new cr250r's that they convert to cr500r's. They've been offering the cr250r/cr500r conversion for a few years now and I am sure they have quite a few cr250 motors laying around.
