Check the tube 4/23/00 about 9:00pm and I'll give you the real LOW DOWN on the 450es.I just got mine a couple weeks ago and have not really put it through much but i'm going to West Vinginia Wed and coming back Sat,and I mean to put it to the test,that normally you wouldn't even think about doing to your machine.I've wondered myself on how reliable the ES was in a good mud bath,and deep stream crossing and more mud,soon to find out.

Get the ES. I know one man that has a Foreman S and wishes he bought the ES. I've had no problems in the first 80+ miles and through a couple of 12-16" creeks with my Rancher. Another friend that has an 96 Fourtrax 300 loves my ES. Even inquired about converting his foot shift to ES. The ES has been out for awhile, and I think, now proven.
