RINCON WINS BIGBORE SHOOTOUT!!!!!!!!

Finally some positive press for the Rincon! Here's the link atvnews.com 650 Shootout

I read that shootout. Haven't read much in terms of ATV mags for a while, they seemed to pick out their favorite, and then try to make it win. This test seemed far more fair. They broke it down to which quad they would prefer in a given situation, instead of just saying 'this one is the winner'..
I alway have liked the predictable handling I have found on every Honda quad I have ever ridden. I just wished they would smoothen out the ride. Sounds like they have done that very well with the Rincon. I didn't really have many doubts on how the handling would be, or the fit/feel of the machine, but I wasn't sure about the tranny. Not that I thought it would be junk, just more because it was so new to ATVing.
Sounds like the 'sporty trail utility machine' has a new king! All hail the Rincon!!!!!!!!!!!
I have always been a Sportsman fan, but when you get an equal ride, equal or better handling, and save 100# of weight, I gotta give credit where it is due. The Grizz may have done it sooner, but I don't think it is as refined as the Rincon.
I know this is all a matter of personal tase, but I wish they had a more conventional look to them. Man, that Rincon looks WIERD!!!!!
Good job on raising the bar, Honda. I can't wait to see what the next couple years will bring.

I like the shoot outs that ATV amgazine does. They pick out all the good and a little bad with each ATV and let you decide the winner. As in real life, each ATV succeeds in its own niche.

I gotta agree with farmr 123 i read the most recient issue of atv action mag. and the 650 prairie won 1st place, the rincon 650 2nd place, the poloris 700 3rd place, and the 660 grizzly 4th place. I like the prairie, but its nice to read about all sorts of machines (there strenghts and weaknesses) I guess the bottom line is they are all bad a$$ machines but some machines suit people better than others, After all they will all make it to the top of the mountain sooner or later right.
