rancher question
I have an 02 honda rancher 4x4 with stock tires. I was thinking of going to aftermarket tires and wheels. I am leaning towards the titan 489xt, because I do not go mudding often and I rarely get stuck with the stockers. I`m getting 24-8-12s(stock size) for the front and 24-10-11s(1 inch wider than stock) on the back with douglas rims 12s(front) and 11s(back). Now for the question, I know the back will be a little wider than the front with this setup but does anybody know how much wider and will I need to get spacers for the front to compensate for the difference. All replies are appreciated.

If you use the Bear Claws with the stock rim size. Use a 25X8X12 in the front and a 25X10X11 in the rear. You can also use the Mud Lite in the same size. Unless you want fancey rims stay with the stock rims they are stronger than the steel Douglas and ITP wheels except for the ITP C series wheel. If you go with other rims use the 12" Dia.

I've got Titan 589 MT's, 25x8x12 front and 25x10x11 rear, and I don't need spacers. You should be fine. My front outside width is about an two inches narrower than the rear and I've thought of putting one inch spacers in the front (overall 2"), but not because I necessarily need to, I just think it would look better with a little wider stance in the front.
