Default crf carb

I was considering using the stock crf450 carb on a 400ex with some mods, it uses an FCR race set-up with I beleive a 39mm body...the advantage it posses is a choke lever and choke system...honda also has a great variety of needles for fuel/air adjustments, has anyone gone this route yet? If so any help would be appreciated.

Default crf carb

I have heard about it being used and it is a much better setup than the stocker. It will work, for sure. I thought I read something on it in the Curtis Sparks web site. Orthe question forum on atvscene.com.
Sorry thats all I know.
Good luck.
