Cleaning question?

I like to use carb cleaner, keep it off any rubber if possible. I also use a little pam cooking spray BEFORE I go in the mud, seems to help it not to stick. The best thing for washing is hot water and a good detergent.

Spray 9, and palmolive dish soap will work wonders. (No, not mixed together!!) I powerwash alot of my machine off, becareful though, as they can drive water past seals and such that normally would be uaffected.

I dont use this stuff on our show bikes with all the polish, but for the duners i spray engine degreaser on the motor and what have you and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes. You wash it off with a hose and it will take almost all the dirt/oil off your machine. Pretty cool stuff

Pressure washers work great at getting water and moisture in places you don't want it to go.

For some reason simple green works great on the engine and frame. I usually let it sit after hosing it down with water first the applying simple green then soaping it up and washing it off. Then I use the Honda spray cleaner. That stuff is fantastic and also anti-static!!! The honda stuff leaves a great shine without the greasy mess of other cleaners.
