Supposedly, they make a kit to convert a 250r to 400ex plastic since it is cheap from Honda. Who makes this kit? What does it take to do it? What if someone wanted to take a 400ex and put 250r Maier plastic on it?

The front piece is $76 from the factory. Super cheap considering Maeir wants around 2 bills for it and their's is vaccuum molded instead of injection molded like the factory. Injection molding gives a smooth, shiny look (almost like it has clear coat on it). Vaccuum molding gives a orange peel like finish.

How do you get in touch with the factory? What is their e-mail address. Cheapest I have found is at eastcoastatv.com for 100 dollars. Front or rear. Thanks, Mike

That doesn't seem to bad. When I say factory, I mean a dealer. There is a dealer in IL where I got my front piece at for the $76 I mentioned before. I got it at Slaight's Yamaha/Polaris. Believe it or not, It was cheaper to buy from my parts counter buddy "Slick" than it was to get it at MY local dealer. Call him (309-647-5546). He's about 26 and rides a 410 Banshee. Really a down to earth dude that likes to roost.
