I have an 86 250r and i want to start MX racing. I was wondering what companies make axle other than durablue and LSR. And what are some prices? I need an extended axle but i dont know how much extention, what do all you racers run? And can you give me some good things and bad things about them? Also im on a money limit. (about $400 or a little more) Thanks

RPM probably makes a little stronger axle than Lonestar but they are also as much as $100 more. I got my Lonestar for $310, Lonestar and RPM have "true" lifetime warranties unlike Durabreak, I mean Durablue!!

 

I like my lonestar except the chroming isn't worth a ****.

THe RPM is really nice. The race hub is a good investment too. I broke a sprocket hub on my old Dura Blue, which is currently in 3 pieces. One of my friends has gone through several lonestar sprocket hubs.
