Mud,
How do the Vamps compare to Blackwaters in Mud? snow? ride? handling? hardpack? grass? trails?

Thanks,

MattH:
I had the blackwaters and the vamps for only a limited amount of time me and my cousin traded front tires and rims. We are not certain on the trad yet. I think I want to trade my vamps though because it can go through the mud alot better dut to more flowtation as tghe front floats and the rear pushes. as far as handling goes if i pump the vamps up 15 psi or so it steer quite easy it the blackwaters are pumped up to the same it will steer harder because it is a wider tire and more rubber is on the ground. The ride is also smoother with the blackwaters on. It runs through the mud alot better with the blackwaters the only thing i miss that i had with the vamps is the ability to climb up steep muddy banks because the front does not bite as much now. thats why i'm going to order the locker soon and it will make up for that and still go alot better in the mud.

Swampmonster i saw your pics your quad is pretty awsome. what did you think of my snorkel? maybe i will replace my front blackwaters with 25-12-12 vamps anyone know if they would fit on the itp front 12x7 wheel and not rub?

SwampMonster did your 12 inch front vamps rub at all without the spacers? did they mount easy on the stock front rims? Also where do you live? My quad is in Conn.
