Default 300ex vs Warrior vs Mojave

id like to see this on a video, no way a stock mojave can beat a 300ex-hell even if the mojave was piped it still couldn't
As a former Mojave owner I can tell you that I never taped it, but I never had a problem beating 300EX's in a drag race (stock-vs-stock). If you start modding them (mod for mod) the gap will grow and the Mojave will walk away up to top speed where they are close. The Mojave's 4 valves and DOHC love mods and they will rev to the moon. If the truth were told a lot of people with 300ex's have never even raced a Mojave because there just aren't many of them around. And the ones who did race against one probably raced an old worn out one if they beat it. As far as the bikes go, they are all very reliable and they all have some strong points. They main thing I didn't like about the Mojave was the headlight was all but useless. They might as well not even put one on.

I saw some 300EX's this last weekend when we went riding and they look a lot smaller than the Warrior. They also didn't look like they had the spunk of the Warrior. The only area they have the Warrior beat in is handling. Most Honda's seem to have razor sharp handling. The Warrior has more power, 6 speed, better reliability, more rider room, and a much less stupid reverse setup. And for all of you people that say you don't need reverse, you must have never ridden on real trails. We rode through a dried up swamp last weekend and I must have used reverse at least 25 times. Reverse does make a difference to some people. Either way, the Warrior is better, but there are a lot of people who still seem to think the 300 is better. Go figure. I guess you just need to ride them both and decide for yourself.

i saw a 91 warrior with a busted rear shock, the guy weighed about 250lbs, didnt jump it, just fast trail riding. the shock was completly blown, running on just tha spring and that thing would bounce like a ****** f***er.

i had a 96 warrior with pretty ruff suspension. i would never own another warrior just because after riding a 400 the handling seemed like i was in a tank......but for trail rides and tough mountain woods ill give the thing credit it could take a serious serious beating.
i was going thru mud holes that were just enormous and everybody was havn a blast laffn at me but none of the 400 hundies dared enter the holes i was making it out of (and nearly making it out of on a few occasions)
also though the yamaha swingarm setup is complete and utter *** on the warrior and some of the others in their lineup as well.
just my 2 cents
