I'm really interested in the FMF Power Core IV-2. I have called FMF everyday and I always forget that they close at 5:30 Pacific. I want them to send me a decible test for the silencer so I can show my dad hard proof. What I really need is a magazine test. They (might) be less biased.

First you must answer just what you want out of the exhaust system. Some are better topend, some make better torque. What do you want..?

I'll add to this discussion... I'm looking for a pipe that will add bottom-end torque, but also one that isn't too loud and with a spark arrestor. From what I can gather about the new Power Core IV2, it's supposed to be "quieter" than stock...which is fine for some...but I would like something a little louder than stock, but no where near the loudness of a Big Gun or Power Core IV. Any suggestions would be appreciated...

Im in the market for a pipe also, leading toward the white bro. e series, made up my mind today when I seen the polished version from Moto Joe, looks like a good pipe, seen it in dirt wheels

The Big Gun with the Quiet core spark arrestor is quiter than almost any other exhaust I have heard and makes tons of torque. I had one before an accident tore it up. Switched to a DMC More top end. I have seen dyno charts and it is near a full race pipe setup, even more than a E-series. But for quiet and torque, Big Gun is the best way to go.
