I just baught a 86 TRX 250R, I put a Fatty pipe on it because i liked it on my brothers 87 250R.
I also Have a never been used Bill's Pipe. Has anyone ever tried both of these? I have a turbine core spark arstr. Im looking for a more smooth and controlled power curve. I was told that the Bill's pipe was a harder hit. What have you found? Im mostly riding tight bumpy trails. and some decent jumping too. So im not looking for the fastest setup, just the more even power curve.

If what you want is a smooth and controlled power curve I think you have the wrong quad get a four stroke.

No, i did not buy the wrong quad. Im saying that because i cant seem to make my 250r run like my brothers. I still am working on the jetting. Im pretty sure that is alot of it. And gearing too. I thaught that the 86 was the same gearing as the 87, not true. So im going from a 13 front, and 38 rear sprocket. to a 13f and either a 39 or 40 rear. The stock rear is a 39 for a 86?

I think you should be happy with the Fatty...Bills pipes aren't very popular, and the Fatty has been proven as a good pipe. I myself am buying a LRD for my next pipe.
