HELP!! Slow Rancher!!
#1
My new Rancher only goes 44 mph!! I am concerned, as I have read posts about them going 50-51 mph. What could be wrong?? I have tried it flat-out on a dirt road with a tail wind and it still just goes 44 mph. I only weigh 175 lbs. so I don't think weight is a factor. Thanks.

I don't know how much time your Rancher has on it, but they do seem to gain considerable performance as they break in. Mine has hit 51mph, under ideal conditions. One peice of advice, change your screen name. I would be willing to bet you would get more replies, but its hard for people to take someone seriously with a name like "sexshopper". I know where your coming from, I've gone through puberty my self, all be it a long time ago. So don't worry the big day will come(no pun intended)just be patient.

First off, I agree with Bob about your screen name.
Now to your question, The Rancher does seem to "loosen" up and run better once it gets a few hours on it. My Rancher has 140 miles & 24 hours. I have had it up to 50 mph on a dirt road, it a little while to get it up to speed, there might have been 1-2 mph left but there was no more road by the way I weigh 240.

there have been several posts about the hondas not being at full power at full throttle. affter you get a few hours on it try adgusting the throttle cable if it still seems slow.
