Do you ever ride WinchesterBay?
We could hook up for a ride either spring break, or possibly this summer.

My 250R definately isn't the fastest around, but it does ok.

Not set up for dragging, and its still on gas too. Still got the 88 length swingarm.

Maybe we could go head to head a couple of times, and see how mine fairs against you Raptor?

 

I actually might be near there during spring break. Im going to the dunes the next 3 weekends. The raptor will be done hopefully by the second weekend (first of spring break). I have a place near hauser so we mainly ride in that area. Ive been wanting to make my freinds go ride at winchester some time though. You are welcome to come over to my place for the day though and ride with us. Plenty of parking usually, and we have dune access very close. The guys i ride with all have close to stock z400, raptor, shee's. Im the fastest.

I do want to be easy on my second gear seeing as i am not replacing it. Because it costs 800friggin dollars to have my mechanic do it. So i am going to stop dragging. But for you, I will drag once again. I need to keep this bike running.

thats if you dont mind riding with a bunch of 20 year olds. Some of my freinds arent very responsible sometimes.. ie, flags, helmets. I figure if they want a ticket or break their neck its their choice. Very entertaining group though and pretty nice.

 

800 bucks to rebuild a motor and put a gear in? Get yourself a manual boy!

 

its not to rebuild, the rebuilding of my valve that i blew up is seperate. He told me about 500$ in parts, which i looked up and its true. And 300$ is pretty standard for opening the case.

The biggest motor i have ever taken apart was my old 200x motor. And it never got put back together. Im just worried about getting the motor back in the frame myself. I dont feel real secure about opening up the case. And i dont have a manual.

 

buy a manual. 500 bucks you would have saved if you had a two stroke...One more reason why 2-strokes are that much better...LOL
