Default 400EX Switch for starting it in gear????

I'm getrting a parking brake block off kit for my 400EX. On the stock clutch lever and perch there is a switch on it, so when you pull the clutch in you can start it in gear. How does this wook with a new clutch perch and lever that I'm getting with the parking brake block off kit? Will I still be able to start it in gear? Thanks for your help.

Just cut the wires off the switch and connect them together. It will try to start whenever you hit the start button so be careful!

What do you mean be careful. How will it act if I was to start it in gear.

Just what I said, it's going to try to start whenever you hit the button; clutch in or out and in gear or not. I wouldn't want you running into something/someone on accident.

Just like MOTO93 said, "Make sure you connect those two wires together because if you don't, you'll have fun ONLY being able to start your quad in neutral. Just finding neutral can be a pain in the A_s-s.
