Newbie Question....Recon and Rubicon plus Trailering
Several questions for you experienced folks.
2001 Recon has had regular oil changes and air filter maintenance....should anything else be done to it? My kids use this machine so I am not used to the "quirky" noises. I do hear a ticking sound that could very well be normal...perhaps someone can help with advice.
2001 Rubicon has 1000 kms. What "dealer" work needs to be done. I change oil and inspect the normal things. It does have a vibrating metal sound that sounds as if it is coming from the exhaust heat shield.
2003 Honda Accord--- Will this vehicle haul the 2 bikes on a snowmobile trailer?
Any help appreciated.
Mike

Get the valves adjusted at least once per year, usually a labour charge plus a new spark plug. Change engine oil as perr manual and check differential fluid often. If it appears milky, change soon as there is water in it.
That would be a pretty heavy load on a small car, too much if its a 4 cylinder. Make sure trailer has its own brakes, the cars brakes will not stop that much weight quickly without overheating.
