You guys have it easy, try my XR600R with only kick starting!
Cold engine
1. stab the throttle 2 times
2. Full choke and hit the button with no gas
3. as soon as it fires start lowering the choke to 3/4 but if it wants to die raise it up enough to keep it going.
4. Let idle for a few min with choke off then ride
Warm engine:
1. just hit the start button with NO throttle
*if it doenest fire, crank it over a few times at full throttle with the kill switch off to clear it out, then repeat step one

The first thing you need to do is change the pilot jet to a #40 to make it start and idle better. On mine I put the chock at 1/2 and use the starter botton. Don't use the throtle before you start it being that the carb has a aceleter pump and it will flood and some times foul out the plug. Remember when you start a cold engine after it has been setting for one or more days, where is all of your engine oil? So, don't over rev the engine until it is warm or you will be putting in a new top end.
