I am wanting to take the parking brake off my 400ex. There is the little button behind the lever though that keeps you from starting it in gear without the lever pulled. I am wondering what to do with this I would like to continue using the switch bus with a lever and perch that isn't so big.

I am not sure I understand exactly what you are asking, but I will tell you how I hooked mine up. I bought a parking brake blockoff plate and a CR clutch perch and lever. Then I just took the wire that made the little switch on the old perch and connected them. Of course now you have to be careful cause it will try to start in gear which I am sure isnt good for the starter, but my neutral indicator still works so it is no big deal. Plus, I am just in the habit of always starting my bike with the clutch in.
