After searching for the slow leak in the front tire of my 94 EX, I discovered the tire was not the culprit....air is leaking from the small 1/16" holes drilled in the bead area of the rim. There are two sets of holes directly across from each other on the rim. I suppose the holes are to let moisture escape? My question, what would cause the air to leak from these holes? Could the rolled bead of the wheel be broken on the inside of the rim? Any ideas or remedies short of purchasing a new wheel?

Try to cover them up with something. J.B. Weld or someting like that. For a temporary fix try using duct tape.

If air's coming out those 2 little holes, then you simply have a bead leak. Try some slime, fix-a-flat, the brake fluid trick someone else posted in another area, or whatever your favorite method is of fixing leaking beads.
