Default 89 250r clutch update kit.

Dose anyone know if the 89 clutch update has a part number. Of the list of parts needed.

Also dose anyone have a comet??? cosmetic? Top end gasket set, high compression! I got one a few years ago I am going to try it, but it has two base gaskets? Should I use them both?

Thanks.

I think this is the part # for the update kit 06220-hb9-305 I think it includes pressure plate, pushrod end, bearing, and thrust washer. If you do a searchon this forum you will find alot of info on this.

I was hitting myself in the forehead trying to remember about this one earlier today and think gr8t250r is right on. I also seem to remember the reason for it being that even after you made the clutch cable as short possible, you still had excessive slack in it. I also vaguely remember installing a few of those "back in the day" and as I remember, the fix worked real well.

Hey thanks for the help, yeah I guess I should have done the search. Lazy me! From what others have said, this should cure my problems.
