I am having trouble once the machine warms up when I first get going and when I stop in idle. I have a powercore IV, K&N air filter. Every thing else is stock ( the guys @ the high pro. shop said it should be fine. I think I need to go up to a 152 main jet and that should solve the problem. Think I need to go larger? I really don't want to mess with the carb too much. I will be running @ about 1,000ft above sea level. I would love any help you guys/ girls can give me.

Thanks,
Scott

Here are things I would consider if I were in your shoes.
1) Don't touch the main jet it has nothing to do with idle speed or throttle.
2) Adjust the idle screw on the card. (The big one you can turn with your fingers.)
3) Go up one or two sizes on your pilot jet and reevaluate.
4) Take the air screw to about 1 1/2 turns out. Factory is set a 2 1/2.

Wheather it's stock or modified go to at least a 40 pilot jet. It helps starting and increases bottom end noticabley, at least it did on mine stock is 38.
