Where to purchase whip flag and mount.
#1
I am looking for the Sand Nutz (P/N: SN103) quick release flag mount.
Anyone know where I can order or get one?
Also I need a good quality whip (really do not want fiberglass). The new style steel whips and removable (changable) flags
for all those places with different flag rules. Super Whips. (Advantage on-line catalog)
Any suggestions ?
I really like the design (guick release, under mount (does not stick up)) of the Sand Nutz system.
Going to Silver Dunes this spring (family lives in Stevensville/St. Joseph/Baroda area) with my bother-in-law and need to add a whip.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks rudedog.... That will work. I needed one that would be bottom mounted so when not in use it did not stick up
above the rack.
Now.
Where do I get a good whip flag. Silver lake Michigan is requiring a square orange flag 10' (8' + 2' rack height) high.
Called them and they said must be rectangle, orange, and 5" x 10"
Quote from Michigan DNR
"(a) The warning flag shall be mounted on a staff that is securely bolted or welded to the
vehicle. The warning flag shall maintain a minimum 10-foot height at standstill and a minimum
8-foot height under motion.
(b) The warning flag shall be mounted on the top-most end of the staff. The flag shall be
rectangular, international orange in color, solid material, with a minimum length on the
supporting side of five inches and a minimum length on the base side of 10 inches."
I cannot find a orange rectangle flag anywhere.
Of course the DNR person said "There are many shops up here that sell them"
And who owns those shops????
Arrrgghhh.
Also even though I have a DNR sticker & Registration ORV Sticker from Ohio, I get to add another from Michigan... Yeaaa.
My quad's gonna look like a Semi truck soon.....
Just venting.
Any suggestions for the rectangular flag?

There are a lot of places to buy one at the dunes, but they end up charging you an arm and a leg. Go to your local craft store and look for a sheet or orange vinyl or sturdy cloth. That will do the trick, and you wont be paying a 20 dollar bill.
