everyone loves to bust on the idea and rumors of Honda's new quad...

but someday it will be true, and when that day comes, HONDA will regain the throne

 

Honda Needs to reach up and touch bottom!

 

You know usually I don't bother with getting into these rumor things but this time I can't resist. If I was you Honda fans I would seriously be disappointed in the big dogs back at Honda Inc. They leave you guys hanging all the time. Your current line up has a wooping 3 sports quads which the only one in my eyes thats worth anything is the 400EX. And even that was designed after the 250R. Honda couldn't even make an all new ATV they took the 250R frame and then put and XR400 engine in it to make the 400EX. Don't get me wrong the 250R is one hell of a machine and is still popular in all types of races. But it seems to me Honda has all but forgotten about the Sport ATV scene and are putting more focus on 4X4 quads(RINCON) and MX (CRF 450). So for you guys I hope Honda wakes back up soon and realizes that they can't build one quad and expect to dominate forever. Suzuki, Polaris, Cannondale(well they are bankrupt now) and Yamaha are leaving Honda in the dust. Little food for thought Yamaha leads them all in Sport ATV sales. Thanks in part to their varied lineup Raptor,Warrior,Banshee, & Blaster. Well I am done now and I am sure someone here will run their mouth but hey this is America we have the Freedom of Speech.

 

Hmm, what throne would that be, the Toilet, LOL. Face it, Honda is BEAT, and always will be. dont get me wrong, the 400 EX is a good "Beginner" Sport quad, but untill they make some thing that can compete with a Raptor or a Predator (yea right), they will always be in "LAST".

I will take a raptor any day on a track. Thats why i am selling my raptor for a 400ex. All the raptor is, is a big motor in a topheavy, very poorly designed bike. The preadator is even more heavy than the raptor. And its slower. Yeah I said its slower. I raced several at the dunes on my raptor and i wasnt impressed with their speed. Lets you and me see who can jump farthest on our stock quads. When honda's new bike comes out, I would bet my money that it wont be a tank like all the new thumpers. The only new bike im impressed with is the Cannondale, and the Gas Gas bikes. Those Gas Gas bikes have all our ***'s owned.

 

Most of the new race quads have just came out within the last 2 years. Yamaha will be dropping the 2-stroke Banshee and Blaster soon. I hope they do come out with a Raptor 400 to fill the void. The Raptor is the only newer sport quad Yamaha has because the others have been out for years. Suzuki only just recently stepped back into the sport quad business. Where were their sport quads for years?
Then Suzuki mass produces the Z400 in different forms. (Z400, KFX400, Artic Cat 400 sport) Kawasaki only just recently started to get a little more serious with the copycat KFX400 and the sport KFX700 that is 516 lbs. and has a semi-auto and a driveshaft. The Mohave and Lakota are outdated and share the same plastic. I liked Cannondale and they go bankrupt. Polaris only just recently came out with their first true sport quad and they couldn't even get the plastic to fit correctly. The 400EX is still winning races and Honda has not forgotten their customers. Some people act like there should be a new sport quad come out each year. But you can bet that there will be one coming out sooner or later. I would like to see Honda come out with a new sport quad if only to shut people up. Instead of pissing and moaning about this and that. Everyone who enjoys sport quads should be happy that there are so many sport quads to choose from because it wasn't always like that.
