I just rode a 250r and a 400ex for the first time today. The R was cool i guess, but I haven't had any real riding time on any quad, I'm just dreaming right now. I couldn't keep my thumb on the throttle. It felt like it was meant for bigger hands. It had some serious power, but it was peaky. I also rode 2 polaris 400s, and they seemed to be a little on the big side with the throttle. Then I got on the 400ex and it felt too perfect! I mean, I could lug it down in 4th, and still pull out a hard turn, and I came off the throttle totally. It's fast, yet easy to ride. All the power is usable at all rpm. Anyway, I loved it!
