Great bike, within its design limitations. Extremely reliable and a fun ride. Only complaint I have is that the front suspension squeaks.

read the review of zuki's new z250 on the atvconnection.com homepage. It sounds like a winner from the review, nicer design than the 250ex. But i have only been on an ex, no z's.

I haven't tired it on a 250EX.

But my Recon makes for a good napping area. I ride over to one of my fav areas at my place for naps and bring a pillow along. You put the pillow on the back rack and then you lay flat looking up on the seat and then put your feet on the handlebars or front fenders and its nearly a perfect one person bed. Looking up at the sky its life at its best here in the country and then I usually fall asleep for 30-45 mins.

As good as the recon does this I would have to reccomend the 250EX because it would get to the napping zone faster

take shocks off and grease around the bolts and reinstall. squeaks are common problem with easy fix. so far no problems with ours yet.
