Why don't you think the Z250 is better than the 250EX?

Ugh. i cant believe this is starting already.

Whatever you hear now about the Z250, whether it be from a friend, a dealer, etc. etc, wont be completely accurate. There are only a handful of people that have actually rode one around to know.

the Z250 will probably be slightly better than the 250ex. compared to the EX, the Z will feature marginally better suspension and power. the significance of the improvements between these two 250cc models will probably be even less than what the Z400 has over the 400EX.and that isn't much to begin with.

i cant wait for people to start showing up with these new Z's at my ORV park. i'll be curious as to how they do compared to a piped 250ex in a drag race.

I will give suzuki props for doing something that honda should have done with their 250: gear it for 20-inch rear tires.this feature on the Z will allow for it to be more versatile as to what size tires you can put on it. it also doesn't hurt that you can put on 20-inch flat profile tires (which it has in stock form, but i'm referring to holeshots and so on) and not lose top end. hopefully honda will follow suit, because i'm sure many would like to see them wind out a little higher than 50 mph with 22 inch tires.

I was just trying to get "matter" to actually say what he thought about the Z250 & 250EX instead of dancing around the subject. He made a statement and I wanted him to back it.

The 250EX has been proven many times over...the Z250, for all we know, will have a long term problem that no one has run into yet...so you can buy the Z250 just dont expect it to be a great quad...remeber Suzuki does not exactly have the best reputation....So you can wait to see how nice the Z250 is or just buy the 250EX knowing that it will be a nice quad...its up to you!
