Wow, Chet. I thought I was the only one who figured out the Recon as a bed thing!
Just take a blanket for a makeshift pillow and head out to the woods. Deep in the woods! No phones, dumbarse questions, just silence- blessed silence!!!

I have the 250EX and it is a fun dependible little machine. Its weaknesses are its small size (anyone over 5'8" is going to feel a little cramped) and the suspension. It sounds like the new Suzuki has better suspension and is a little bigger and faster. I would definitely compare them before getting the Honda. See how they fit and feel to you.

You are correct. It is based on the Recon frame but with many improvements made in the handling, weight and braking departments. With that being said I would think if you like the Recon I am not sure how you could not like the 250EX.

RaptoryFM660r, I guess I've been trying to nap the wrong way. I always try to put my head on the gas tank.(the air hose on the tank presses into my head) I'll have to try it the other way with my coat under my head. I never do get a good nap in because I'm always listening for coyote's and black bears. Once awhile they pop up out no where. (Usually I do the popping up out of no where.)

matter, How many people do you know that have the Z250? The 250EX has been out since 2001. How long has the Z250 been out? I do agree that the Z250 will be competition for the 250EX.
