Default I need some advice!!!!!!!!!

Hey I have had my rancher for a couple months now and love it ( a p 650 is on the way though). I was wondering why my rancher rust seems to rust a lot. Is there any way to prevent it from rusting? I have a 00 wolverine that is pretty I drive a lot, and it has basically no rust! I clean both quads after every ride basically, and the rancher has FAR less miles than the wolvy. Any help will be appreciated!

try cleaning the rust spots real good and spraying with WD40 and then get some clear coat protective coating and brush over all the spots that may have a potential rust problem might cost a little but it would help.

hope my suggestion helps

we have an 01 rancher es. It stays outside, is ridden year round through all kinds of nasty stuff, and its probably been washed 5 times since we got it, no rust yet. make sure after you clean up your rust that you paint it to seal it back up, or it will just come back worse.

Thanks for the replies! I will try tonight. How often do you guys clean your atv? I try to clean mine after every ride, and maybe too much cleaing causes it. Any other ideas of how stop the rust? Thanks. Also, any hop ups you guys reccomend for my stock rancher? Thanks again

Clean the rust with "Naval Jelly Rust Dissolver". Then touch up the spot with a little paint.
