Am looking at the Rincon and have been reading those posts now for about 3 hours. Can't stop. After hearing what some of the shortcomings of the rincon are, and how easy it would have been for honda to not leave these items out of the design(just gives the competition easy things to pick at)....I'm wondering if antone knows when the 2nd year Rincons would be available and maybe see if honda added any of these things?? I currently have a sportsman 500 that I'm selling to my brother, so I need to replace it...so I'm looking around(no brand loyalty really when it comes to atvs-only sleds)...I do alot of trail riding with guys who have 2 wheel drive sportier models , so the "SUV" Rincon seems like a good 4x4 compromise. I am concerned with one thing though. Currently the biggest task I do with the sportsman 500 is to tow my wood 7'x8' ice fishing shack around the lake in low range. I'm a little worried the Rincon isn't meant to do this over time with no low range and a softer, unadjustable rear suspemsion. I also hear, in general, that it's reccomended in rear independant suspensions to add a suspension lock bar to tie the a-arms together when doing heavy towing , plowing , etc..
