Eeveryone has their own opinions on exhaust but for that bike and for the price. . I don't think yuo can beat the Pro Circuit T-4!! I have it on mine and love it. . and its quite a bit cheaper than the FMF Titanium 4 which is pretty much the same thing in my eyes!! Unless you wantt o go higher price. . then anyhting goes. . Yoshimura. . Big gun. . you know!! i really like the sound of the t-4 though. . and it only ran me about $220 I think. . .

i have a white bros exhaust on mine and i only paid $190 and it sounds great. That combined with my k&n added lots of power.

I would have to second the T-4 by Pro-Circuit. I had one on my 250X and my friend has one on his 300EX now. It sounds really nice an it's affordable I beleave mine was like $180 from RockyMountainATV.com. Combine that with a Powrol oversized head pipe, for $100 and you have a really nice full exhaust for under $300. Add that with a qualty foam filter, open up the airbox, and rejet and you'll noice a substantial gain. To add even more to that gain put on a 14 tooth front sprocket.

Mine cost a little more but it went on a 400ex compared to a 300ex. but my buddy has one on his 300 and he loves it not sure on the price. The t-4 is $215 on rockymountainatv and the white bros is $250 and i think it gives you around 5hp after you rejet the carb.

Are you refering to the 5hp gain on th 400EX or the 300EX ? Seams alittle over the top for a 300EX seeingas it has a mear 16 ponies stock...that would be around a 30% increase with just a pipe...
