Default Anyone tried Dial-a-jet

Has anyone tried this product? How well does it work as good as a K&N jet kit? Does that filter keep all the dirt out? How much of power increase did you feel? Any answers will be appreciated!

Yes, I've used one... on a 2-stroke application.

Worked well, made jetting changes easier, jetting seemed to be more crisp.
I also used the snorkel and filter... with the filter ran up by the headlight.. had no problem with dirt/sand intrusion..

Did it make a noticable power difference... Not really, but that's not why I got it...

I put a dial-a-jet on my Rincon after an exhaust mod.

It cleaned up ( leveled out) my fuel mix and seemed to give me a stronger pull through each gear.

It now runs very clean, not lean, but clean. If installed properly, you wont be able to create a rich looking plug with the daj because it only adds fuel as needed to counteract a lean condition.

Also, the d-a-j will not lean out an already rich condition.

I am considering some DMC alien Duals for my Orange Crush. They recommend 138 front and 140 rear jets.

First question: What do you guys think of the DMC exhaust?

Second question: When rejetting, do you just change the actual screwed in jet or both the jet and needle? (not real sharp on carbs yet)

Third question: Where can I find some info on the web about where to buy new jets, how much they cost, installation instructions, etc...

Any help will be much appreciated by a fellow V Force fanatic.....
