My best friend has a 250x. I just bought a 2k 300ex.we race constantly and its close but the 300 is faster. He even admits it. He loves riding it and he rides it all the time he said that it has more power and its faster. his is a 91. And by the way it all depends on where you live and i hope you all know that the better you break in your quad the more power you get out of it!!!!

Yeah, when did Yamaha start making a 250X? I want one, it will be a collectors item soon, as rare as they are.
