500 rubicon vs 250EX 0-300 feet on pavement
#11
Is it is not a traction contest. Just on pavement or anyserface with good traction. I think a Z250 will hold its own.
Top speed of a rubicon is 54-55mph.
The LT-Z250 should not be very far behind that. Since an Ozark 250 will go like 51mph. 250EX 52mph.
LT-Z250 391 wet est. with rider 536 pounds. avg rear wheel torque across the powerband. est 10 lb ft
53.6 lb per ld ft of torque
500 Rubicon 630 wet with rider 825 pounds. avg rear wheel torque across the powerband. est 23 lb ft
35.9 lb per lb ft of torque
Torque is what thrusts the rider and machine of the line. Since the top speeds will be close. there will be less wind drag on the Z250.
I guess me and my friend will see this fall when he gets a Z250. If he beats the Rubicon. I won't mind. Because this fall I'm getting a KFX 700.
