How did you do hunting?
#22
I'm going out bowhunting for whitetail again tomorrow. It's been really slow for me here in Illinois because where I've been hunting the farmer hasn't gotten the corn and beans out yet so they have a lot of cover. It should really be hot in a couple weeks, though, then shotgun season will be open the weekend before Thanksgiving.

I shot myself a heckuva nice buck yesterday. Too bad we can't post pics here. We're guessing he weighs close to 250 lbs field dressed. He is 30" around the base of his neck. He is a 9 point. One of the points is only 1/16" short of an inch. I still like to call it a 10 point. Especially since it's my first buck in my 23 years of deer hunting. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can send pics if anyone wants. "Shoot" me your e-mail addy.

Just got back from deer hunting this past weekend. Dad and I both got a really nice buck. I put a pic of both in my gallery. Enjoy!!! I know I sure do.

Hey nice bucks, Babymoose. Nice to hear from you again. They're starting to knock the elk down pretty good around here, some high country snow pushing them down. Taking my son out for deer tomorrow over east on the Teton river. Been hunting with him all year, so haven't had many chances to chase the bit ones around. But would rather have him get shots on a deer than me on an elk, actually.
