Those are both outragous bucks. I can't immagine seeing something like that walking around in the woods. I think I need to raise my tree stand up a little higher.

 

Nice to see a young hunter getting a big buck . the buck I posted was shot ilegally so it does not count for boon and crocket. just wanted to show "all" the deer . it actually scores under the world record hanson buck, but this was found out after the original post.

Hope to see that buck from Iowa soon.

 

The rumors are flying fast and furious about that Iowa deer. Rumors that dad actually shot it is one I hear most. That is usually accompanied with the story that dad was once busted for poaching. Lots of stuff like that going around.

 

I hope the rumors are not true. It would be nice for the 15 yr old to get that buck.

 

they would both be world records the one in canada is based on the typical theory and the one the boy shot would be considere a non-typical catagorey

I'm not into hunting, but that's a good story. I was wondering if anybody had a Boone and Crocket book if they could look up the record on Kodiak bears. My sisters neighbor held the number two spot in the book. The bear is mounted in his living room standing up.. It is very impressive.. Her neigbors name is Harvey from Sandy, Utah. but I don't know the last name. Just wondering if he's still in second place..

 

The buck killed near dryden ontario net scored 199B&C so even if it was legally killed it would not be a world record.
