Any bowhunters...
I live to bow hunt. I have one in the books, it is 4x4 that scored 125 1/8 and is completely in velvet. You can see a picture of it in the N. Dakota bowhunter Assn. web site.
A few years ago I won the N.D. indoor championship. Those are my 2 biggest feats so far. I bow hunted for brown bear when I was in Alaska. Probably not the smartest thing I have done. I never got a chance at one though. I've bow hunted for black bear but haven't got one of those yet either.

I use my bow, cost under $200, to hunt elk. I have found that it's not the money you spend on a bow it's the time spent practicing that counts. That and keeping your wits about you when the bulls come in. Up here in brushy north Idaho that can mean just a few feet away.

Love bowhunting, started in the mid 70's took alittle time off in the middle and am getting back into it heavy for the past 6 years. Usually open the season in PA for a week then hunting every chance I get locally in MA. I've filled at least one tag every year since getting back into it. I've got one picture of the one that got away. My son is in the marines and was late by one day getting to camp. The deer is standing 15 yards from his stand. Isn't that always the way.

Filled my bear tag yesterday with my rifle. Shortest bear hunt I've ever been on. Got off atv, walked maybe 250 yds down an old loggin trail and shot the bear. From the time I got off the atv to the time I had the bear loaded on and ready to head back down the mountain I would say I had spent about an 60 to 75 minutes. The bear size is nothing to brag about.
