I called the outfitter. He said that an 18 cubic ft freezer would be enough to bring back 3 moose. He said thats what most clients use is a freezer. He said it doesn't even have to work, just pack ice around it. I called one of the references. They brought 3 moose back with one freezer and a couple coolers. Their freezer was " smaller" The outfitter said that the meat would be boned out, vaccum sealed and frozen when we bring it home. The outfittet doesn't use ATVs or anything to get the moose out of the field. Everthing is packed out on foot. the reference told me he only got about 250 lbs of meat. He said he help pack it out and walked about 32 miles that day to get it out.
