We have just Easterns here. I would love to get around to going on a Grand Slam, or just get out and go after one of those Rio's or Merriams, or even an Osceola. I've heard that the Easterns are the toughest to hunt, but I cant back that with any evidence. Good luck everyone and post your results of this spring season.

I was out today looking at some acreage in the Sierras. Found 2 spots where turkeys are at One location is at 1500 feet, the other, just over 3300 feet. Locked both places in on my GPS for future hunting

OMG- the turkeys are going absolutley nuts! I bet I heard 10 different birds this morning on 200 acres. Youth season starts for my son this coming weekend. I'am going to be going out every morning and evening to listen and pin point a few birds and to set up a few blinds. I know that some seasons around the country have started already. Anyone have any luck yet?
