Default 300 Sav. Pump

hey guys I got a 300. Savage Remington Pump and I've been looking all over for a new clip (magasine) for it. I only have one clip and it is a pain to reload when my game is running away. They only made one model of these rifles and they are very rare in a pump. I was wondering if anyone knows a place that I can order a new clip from. It would be preferably in Canada. And does anyone else have a rifle like this?

I would check ebay, they have a TON of clips there. That is where I got my second ones for my Browing 300 and 308, brand new and cheaper then in the stores. Good luck.

Sounds like you need target practice.............4 in the clip, 1 in the chamber and you need another clip because the game is running???????LOL , I'm Just Kidding... lol well I my game doesn't run away its just that this year me, my bro, and my dad all had doe tags and when I saw the buck come up there was a doe beside it and well i guess i got excited (my first deer i shot) and i pulled the safety off anf it made a big click so the buck took off so i emptied my clip on him (3 times in the head, once threw the heart and the thing was still running so i blew its leg off) and the doe was shocked i guess so it was still standing there so i had to reload and everything but the toe took off before i was done and I think the model is 760 I'm not sure I'm taking it out on the weekend so I'll tell you then

Best bet Ebay. How rare is the pump. I have a lever action 300 savage with a built in rotary clip that my dad passed down to me, and imo the 300 savage is the best deer rifle ever. I never knew they made a pump before. I have been hunting only 5 years and have got four deer and only used 4 shells with my 300. It never misses

Lets see if this works... http://www.remington.com/support/parts/others.htm

That link should provide you with a national list of Remington speciality parts dealers. Might help you out. Also try, Brownells they should have clips for that rifle.

Fine deer round too! Have a Savage 99 in .300 savage. Gotta hit the range from the sounds of it- LOL. What grain and type of bullets are you using for your deer hunting?

Yeah there was not a lot of them built. Even Savage did not make to many in the M99. Once the military elected to take the .308 win there was not much of a following for the .300 savage. Pretty much right in the wheelhouse for deer though- I have never had a buck move from the spot he was shot- some even on a dead run.... Hit that range and practice now!!! You will be happy when that buck presents a shot and you do not even have to work the actiion- cause it is hoofs a kickin coming off recoil!!
