My dad and I were out fising once, and a Diamondback tried to get into our boat... I was at the back and out of nowhere my dad starts cussing, etc....I looked over and saw him trying to push the snake back in the water with the tip of his pole... I nearly fell out of the boat...lol. I grabbed the net, and used the handle to flip him back into the water. Needless to say, we moved out of there in a hurry!!!

I grew up in south Louisiana and served in the Army in Az for several years and I have seen my share of snakes, but the scariest thing is when I was a teen I was fishing from the bank of a canal just inland and got a bite from something pretty big. I worked the drag for quite a while until this 6 foot alligator surfaced about three feet from me with my lure stuck in it's tongue. I sure miss that lure!
