By the way if your worried about your dog being bitten by a rattlesnake there is a vaccination available for rattlesnake venom. Just like the Rabies shot. Ask your vet about it, that is where I found out about it. It's not an anti-venom for after they have been bitten it's a vaccination that's for before they could be bitten. It will give them a much better chance of survival. I don't know the price but if you have a good bird dog, cow dog, retriever it would probably be worth the expense.

 

Never heard of that vac. before. Sounds like a good idea though if you have a hunting dog etc.
