definatly go with a deere kubota or ford (holland) or even a massey furgeson if you have to. these are the easiest to get parts for and are good quality. if all your doing is mowing a massey furgeson would be fine. alot of peope i know who farm have some massey furgs but we farm a bit over 100 acres of nursery stock and berries and we dont have anything but allis charmers and john deere. most of them are alice charmers but thats only becuase we inherited them but all of the tractors we have bought have been john deere. anyways if all you want to do is mow the furg would be fine but if you want to be able to work all that ground up really good to farm it i would go with the deere ford or kubota.

Every fall we get a Kubota 4x4 tractor with a bucket and brushog from a local rental store. All I can say is that tractor sure takes a thrashing and still wants more. We are just beside ourselves with what we have "hogged" out with that rig. Awesome tractor, in my IMO!!

Burn it. 100 acres of 3 foot tall grass won't take any time at all. It would probably be a good idea to get the fire dept involved before instead of after.

You can also get somebody to come in and bail it. Then you can sell it and make a few bucks or let the guy bailing it have the hay for doing the cutting.
